Welcome to Lavender Fields. We have created a self-sustainable retirement community, lovingly thought through for many years and now becoming a reality at last! Our wonderful care village offers those who choose it a peaceful haven, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life but with a wide range of activities and supportive services, and all delivered with TLC within this beautiful retirement community. Enjoy a wide and varied social life, both on site and beyond, offering independence when you crave it, but support when you need it. With our 24 (soon to be 29), privately-owned close care bungalows on site, our 72 bed care home nearly a year old, and boasting a hub with pub, cafe / bistro, hairdressers, village shop, post office, nail bar and a small gym with changing rooms, we truly are a community in our own right.

29 beautifully appointed, two bedroom bungalows for married couples, partners, close friends or single occupancy owners, who want the ability to have friends and relatives to stay over. Both bedrooms have en suite shower rooms, for that extra little bit of luxury.
The Hub
We offer wonderful rolling countryside views for your enjoyment, and are in close proximity to the famous market town of Pocklington. On site we offer a licensed bar, café, general store, wellness centre, cinema room and so much more!

A 72 bedroom, wonderfully spacious care home, all with full en suite shower wet rooms. Every bedroom conveniently located at ground floor level, many with views across the rolling countryside, others into beautifully landscaped gardens. Plenty of room to entertain, or just to sit and enjoy some quiet time alone, and that’s before we talk about the entertainment hub!

Lavender Fields is located only a mile from the picturesque village of Barmby Moor, or just 3 miles from the famous market town of Pocklington. If you want a change of scenery, then our minibus service will drop off and pick up residents from points of interest in the wonderful East Riding of Yorkshire, and beyond.
